Cory Barnwell jumped into his legal career immediately after his first year of law school in 2011 by interning for a part-time Magistrate Judge’s private practice in Fulton County. Jumping into the fire, Cory immediately began working on personal injury, medical malpractice, domestic, and business cases and continued to do so throughout law school, as well as after graduating law school and being admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2014.

In 2017, he founded Barnwell Law Group while also acting as in-house counsel for the country’s largest privately held payroll company. In 2022, Cory decided to focus the entirety of his time to his private practice and helping people like you in need of legal services here in Georgia. Cory has extensive experience defending and pursuing cases representing both plaintiffs and defendants in various state and federal courts across the U.S. in civil matters of all shapes and sizes. Having argued in courts ranging from the Supreme Court of Georgia to the appellate courts in the northeast, Cory welcomes an opportunity to enter the courtroom to fight for you.
